Abstract:
This study is based on a series of revolutionary research and recent publications, which laid the basis for future comparative disciplinary history of psychology in Russia of pre-Soviet, Soviet and post-Soviet periods. It seems appropriate in compressed form to bring some results of these studies in the first part of this work, and then, in its second part, we discuss the "Stalinist model of science" in its actual implementation in the contemporary Russian psychology of the 21st century. In conclusion, it is suggested that the "Stalinist model", which dominates in modern Russian science, including psychology, is a significant obstacle to its further effective development in the present conditions and that fundamental reform not only of social order but also of the traditions of historiography of Russian psychology is urgently needed.
