Theoretical models of study perfectionism of personality in foreign psychology

Abstract:
The article describes the main theoretical approaches to the study of the phenomenon of personality perfectionism, isolated and analyzed psychoanalytic, behavioristic and cognitive areas of psychological science. In modern psychology, perfectionism is regarded as a psychological construct that combines excessively high standards of performance expectations and aspirations. Emphasized the need to build models of perfectionism personality that would describe the structure, genesis and determinants of personality makeovers. Perfectionism in psychological science is defined as the aspiration of the personality to self-improvement, faultlessness in everything and it is rather a steady personal feature. It can have both healthy, and pathological nature of course and be shown both to the concerning of the subject to himself, and to other persons.
